The first squads for the Team NI representative teams at under 15 and under 17 men has been selected. The Under 18 women selection trial will take place on the 24th November. Trials took place over the previous weekend and a number of players from last season had been pre-selected. Performance camp one will take place between 3rd-5th of January 2025 and all players will be contacted with the details and registration links over the next 2 weeks. Dates have already been confirmed in July and August 2025 for fixtures against Wales which will be taking place in NewForge.
Performance Pathway lead for Team NI, Andy Gill stated, “This is the second year of the Team NI programme supported by Sport Northern Ireland and we are looking forward to building on the work from last season. We want to play with an identity that takes into account the fast-paced modern game and assists the development of our young players. We are looking forward to the challenge of Wales and we hope to confirm other fixtures in the near future”.
