  • With a perspective on basketball, we intend to be one community
  • In comparison with other sports, we want basketball to be the most popular sports community
  • To create the best infrastructure, culture and environment to harvest success in the sport of basketball
  • To build a performance pathway for elite athletes to be able to represent Basketball Northern Ireland on an international stage

I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

―Michael Jordan

“Basketball NI has been working to develop our Performance Athlete Pathway developing Team NI 3×3 Men’s and Women’s teams to compete in the Commonwealth games with the support of Basketball Ireland, FIBA , Sport NI and NI Commonwealth Games. We look forward to growing this project for the future of our young people and sport.”
