The first 3×3 event of the season happened in St Malachys on Sunday 23 Feb 2020 with five teams competing to take home the first prize.
The competition was fast and furious, with scores coming thick and fast.
After the initial series of group games, the semi-finals seen the BBC Crew go head to head with the East Coast Sharks, while the Showtime Fakers took on the Rostrevor Rockets.
The BBC Crew pulled off a shock win over the Sharks 10-8, with the Sharks having won the group game 10-6 earlier in the day. The other semi seen the Fakers dominate the Rockets, with the Fakers hitting their stride the deeper into the competition they went.
The final seen the Fakers take on the BBC Crew, however the Fakers were in the groove by this stage and were scoring for fun. BBC Crew worked hard but couldn’t stop the Fakers from taking the 3×3 title.
