On Tuesday morning we had the pleasure of kicking off our Jr. NBA Legacy League with an action-packed blitz in Newcastle! Forty talented Primary 7 pupils from Sacred Heart Primary School, Dundrum and St Joseph’s Carnacaville came together, forming four dynamic teams: the Chicago Bulls, LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, and Phoenix Suns.
In a thrilling round-robin competition, every game was fiercely contested, with close scores keeping the excitement high. The Bulls and Celtics battled their way to the final, where the Bulls emerged victorious in a nail-biting golden bucket classic!
A huge thank you to the teachers from both schools for their incredible participation and coaching efforts.
