CJ Fulton Shines on NBA Radar, Inspiring a New Generation of Irish Basketball

Belfast born, CJ Fulton, continues to make waves on the NBA pre-draft circuit. Off the back of CJ’s impressive college career at Charleston, he has earned himself two work outs with Minnesota Timberwolves and the reigning NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets – a remarkable achievement for one of our own.

CJ’s calm, controlled leadership on the court has made him stand out. This past season, he led the entire NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio, showing exactly the kind of poise, decision-making, and reliability NBA teams look for in a point guard.

Facing off against top-tier prospects who’ve been in the spotlight for years, The 22-year-old guard hopes to become the third Irish-born player to compete at the elite level in the United States after Pat Burke and Susan Moran.

This is a truly incredible moment for Irish men’s basketball — and the entire Basketball NI community is right behind CJ. We’ll be cheering him on every step of the way. CJ is showing generations in Northern Ireland and beyond that with hard work and discipline this is where you can end up. We wish CJ every success going forward.
