Team NI announce new coaching staff to spearhead the U15 girls team

Team NI is excited to announce more significant advancements within its programme, showcasing a commitment to nurturing young talent and elevating the standards of high-performance basketball in Northern Ireland. Team NI is set to enter a dynamic phase with the appointment of new coaching staff and an intensified focus on performance pathways.

Team NI is delighted to announce Andy Gill as U15 Girls Head Coach and Andy Mulholland as Associate Head Coach for the U15 Girls.

Elite Pathways Coordinator and Head Coach, Andy Gill, shared his excitement for the upcoming period, highlighting the commitment to the Team NI programme.

“I am happy to continue the great work of Marc and Andy over the last summer period” exclaimed Head Coach, Andy Gill. “I will use my experience to support Andy Mulholland as he transitions to the head coaches role over the next 2 months . This move will enable me to take a more strategic role over all our programmes”

Andy Mulholland, as the newly appointed Associate Head Coach, brings a vast amount of experience to Team NI, aiming to aide the coaching team’s capabilities in developing young talents.

The upcoming Performance Camp over Christmas further underscores Team NI’s commitment to hands-on development. The coaching team is eager to work with the talented Under 15 Girls, creating a dynamic and enriching environment for skill refinement.
